Privacy Policy

This page explains what TechFace.NET collects and why. Last updated October 2026.

What we collect

Account details you give us (name, email, username, password stored only as a one-way hash), the profile information and posts you choose to publish, your messages and files sent through chat, and basic technical data such as IP address and browser used for security and rate limiting.

How we use it

To run the service: show your profile and posts to the audience you choose, deliver messages and calls, send notifications, prevent abuse and review boost payments.

Sharing

Public posts and public profiles can be seen by anyone, including search engines. Connections-only posts and private messages are shown only to the people they are addressed to. We do not sell your data.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, download your data and delete your account from Settings at any time.

Cookies

We use one session cookie to keep you logged in and a small preference for dark mode. No advertising cookies.
